Bahrain Water Technology Co.

The MENA region is one of the most water-scarce regions in the world, and water demand region-wide is rapidly increasing. The threat of water scarcity ensures that investment in developing freshwater supply is at the forefront of regional objectives and requirements.

As one of its inaugural initiatives, Inovest aims to establish a first of its kind facility in the Kingdom of Bahrain for the manufacturing of water filter cartridges for distribution to the household and commercial sectors in the MENA region.

The manufacturing technology which will be employed in the proposed plant is unavailable in the region and is expected to ensure that the Bahrain Water Technology Company will be equipped to deliver very high quality filters.

Inovest Real Estate Investment Trust

The Inovest Real Estate Investment Trust (IREIT) is to be established with the principal purpose of acquiring income generating properties in GCC. The trust’s main focus will be the acquisition of properties that can generate an acceptable return on investment in the form of rental income whilst offering a reasonable capital appreciation. The IREIT will follow international best practices, will be shariah compliant, and will maintain an investment mandate that ensures a low risk profile, with potential of regular returns and capital gains over a longer period of time.

IREIT will be organized and registered in accordance with the Trust Law of Bahrain. It will be primarily listed at BSE for which a new category will be set up by BSE, making it the first such Real Estate Investment Trust to have been organized in Bahrain and based on international REIT concepts.
