Dr. Abdulqawi Radman Othman
Dr. Abdulqawi Radman Othman Acting Chief Executive Officer and CIO

Dr. Abdulqawi Radman Othman is the Chief Investment Officer of INOVEST B.S.C. and a senior investment executive with more than 20 years of experience in investment management and Islamic finance across the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia.

He has managed investment portfolios exceeding USD 1 billion and led major transactions in private equity, real estate, and strategic investments. His experience includes leadership roles as Co-Founder and Managing Director of Tadhamon Capital, Chief Investment Officer at Tadhamon Bank, and Chief Executive Officer of SGT, a Belhoul Group company in Dubai.

Dr. Abdulqawi holds a PhD in Management Science (Banking and Finance) from the University of Wales and an MBA from the University of Liverpool. He has published several peer-reviewed research papers in Islamic finance, banking, and sukuk.

At INOVEST, he leads the Company's investment strategy, portfolio management, and investment development initiatives to support sustainable growth and long-term value creation.

Yusuf Maraghi
Yusuf Maraghi Head of Finance – HR & Admin

Mr. Yusuf Maraghi joined the INOVEST team in 2018, with over 15 years of experience in the field of finance and accounting.  Across his career, Mr. Maraghi held responsibility for finance strategy, managing the corporate accounts, intercompany and interbank relations, as well as budget development and approval, and streamlining financial policies and procedures.  Prior to joining the team, Yusuf was Head of Finance as Eazy Financial Services, and held positions in major academic institutions, and in AlSalam Bank before that.

 

Yusuf graduated from the University of Bahrain with a BSC degree in Accounting and is currently working on being a Certified Islamic Public Accountant and on an IFRS Program.

Riyadh Al Mulla
Riyadh Al Mulla Board Secretary and Shareholder Affairs

With over 21 years of experience in the financial sector, Mr. Al Mulla joined the Group in 2002, and today serves Inovest as the principal contact and liaison between the Board of Directors and Company’s management, supporting the Chairman of the Board in regards to Board meetings, AGM/EGM activities, and further ensuring the establishment and implementation of sound corporate governance procedures.  Previously Mr. Al Mulla work exposure included brokerage and marketable securities, auditing, and accounting.

 

Mr. Al Mulla holds an Accounting degree from the University of Bahrain and several certifications in Financial Markets and Institutions and in Commercial Law.

Hamad Zainalabedeen
Hamad Zainalabedeen Head of Internal Audit

Hamad Zainalabedeen joined Inovest BSC in 2009 as the Head of Internal Audit Department. Mr. Zainalabedeen has worked in a number of local and world renowned financial institutions and professional audit firms over the last 18 years with extensive auditing experience in Islamic Investment Banks, Investment Businesses, Manufacturing Enterprises, Governmental Organizations and other sectors.

 

Prior to joining Inovest, Mr. Zainalabedeen held leading positions in Internal Audit at Investment Dar Bank and Gulf Finance House.  Hamad also worked with Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen as an external auditor.

Hamad holds an Executive MBA and Bachelors of Science in Accounting from the University of Bahrain.

Ahmed Khameeri
Ahmed Khameeri Director of Compliance

Mr. Ahmed Khameeri joined the INOVEST group in 2022 with 16 years of experience in the financial sector; specifically in retail, offshore and investment banking.  The majority of these years were dedicated to the fields of Governance, Risk, Compliance, and AML.

Prior to joining Inovest was the Head of compliance and MLRO at Tadhamon Capital B.S.C for 8 years, where he developed an enhanced compliance frameworks, promoted a robust compliance culture, and helped raising awareness in the field of Compliance and Anti-Money laundering within the Organization. Prior to that, Ahmed worked in several departments in both Global Banking Corporation (GBCORP) and Arab Bank plc such as Compliance, Treasury Back Office, Offshore Unit Operations, and Retail Banking. Ahmed has strong knowledge of Islamic banking Investment products, Regulatory Compliance, Governance, Risk and Anti-Money Laundering.

Ahmed was awarded the International Diploma in Governance, Risk, and Compliance from International Compliance Association “ICA” in Association with University of Manchester Business School. Member of International Compliance Association (MICA).  He also holds an Advanced Diploma in Islamic Commercial Jurisprudence from the Bahrain Institute of Banking and finance (BIBF), and a Diploma in Commercial Studies from the University of Bahrain as well as BSC degree in Finance and Banking from the Kingdom University.


 

Ali Haji
Ali Haji Director of Risk Management

Mr. Ali is an accomplished risk management professional with over 17 years of experience in the financial industry.

Throughout his career, Ali has demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, research, and analysis. He has worked with several organizations, including International Payment Services, Venture Capital Bank, and National Bank of Bahrain.

Mr. Ali's professional experience includes serving in various roles in risk management. Currently, he serves as the Director of Risk at INOVEST BSC, where he is responsible for developing risk models, designing, and implementing an overall risk management process, and establishing the level of risk the company is willing to take.

Mr. Ali holds the Associate Professional Risk Manager (APRM) certification from PRMIA and the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation from GARP. He earned a B.A. in Business and Finance from Heriot-Watt University and has further strengthened his leadership acumen by completing the Executive Management Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.
